Most popular benefit vehicles in 2022 - statistics show not a surprising trend

Rise of EV’s continues and is very visible in the LeasePlan’s statistics of most ordered benefit vehicles in 2022. Statistics show that as much as half of the TOP 10 most popular models, are full electric vehicles.

“Figures did not surprise us. Last year we saw EV’s overtaking petrol and diesel vehicles, with full EV’s represented at the top 10 list for the first time. Similar happened this year”, says Vesa Kalske, Commercial Director from LeasePlan Finland.

Growth of electrification is especially visible on passenger vehicle side. "We can see that the amount of EV's is already 10% on the whole passanger vehicle fleet this year", Kalske continues.

One can see yet spread between car labels in the list of most ordered benefit vehicles. Most popular model was Škoda Octavia with Volvo 60 series right behind on the list. The situation has remained the same for many years, although now half of Škodas and more than half of Volvos are rechargeable.

”Škoda and Volvo are represented by several models. Additionally, this year we found Polestar 2 being on TOP 10, which makes the list even more versatile”, says Kalske.
